LG Crystal

Wow! This is the first phone that would attract me to buy it, in the past all the phone I bought is for the sake of calling communicating. But for this I am going to buy for the sake of phone itself=)

'A' level aftermath
After 'A' level, it feels very uneasy for me. No stress and no overnight mugging. Somehow I just cannot sit down and watch a show properly, I will keep on walking around to do other things if not I will surf net while watching. Now I am still on my way to start to make myself relax and enjoy life, slowing down my pace. If not NS would be a good place to help me to do so. Haha!

Christmas is over, 2010 is coming. I have found it but yet I have not found. I will continue to seek until I find it and I believe one day I will find it. The Lord knows the desire of my heart and He will direct my steps to walk in His ways.
A new year is coming, a new direction, new challenges, new breakthrough is coming. But the course is fixed, to focus on the main thing and go on a journey of eternity.

Hi frens,
I believe there is no other word that describes worship better than "surrender". Surrender is the essence of worship and if you build a lifestyle of surrendering every area of your life (studies, work, relationships, habits) to God, you are actually building a lifestyle of worship.
What is worship?
The Apostle Paul said that we must "offer our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing- this is your spiritual act of worship." (Romans 12:1)
From here, we know that worship is not merely singing a few songs in church services or raising hands or any other acts such as jumping or shouting for joy. These acts are good but God is looking for more than that. He is looking at the heart.
"The Lord does not at the things man look at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7b)
God looks not at what men look to define passion and commitment. I recently asked one of my friends how he deduces someone is committed to the Lord. He said that if someone likes Christian songs, he is a committed Christian. But God seeks your actions, to the heart.
How do we worship in a way that is pleasing to God?
Jesus gives us the correct way to worship God- "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks." (John 4:23)
We must worship God in spirit, which means not worshipping with only your mind but with your inner being as well. Because God is spirit, we must worship Him in spirit.
Secondly, we must worship God in truth, which means living a life that is a testimony to what we say or sing.
Living a life of surrender
When you surrender, it means you totally give up something. In this case, we have to give up our total being (our desires, rights and principals) to follow God. Becuase surrender is the ultimate way to freedom.
God does not want you to surrender and start living a life of "blind faith". But the Apostle Paul says that God gives you hope as you surrender your life to Him. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Always remember that Hope is not positive thinking in which the outcome is not known to you but Hope is given when you know the outcome and is just waiting for it to happen. Thus, we can have Hope as Jesus has already won the victory of salvation on the cross.
Let's surrender our lives and see God's plans coming to pass. Remember, that nothing (power, principalities) can separate us from the love of God!
In His Love,
Benedict

Differences make us special,
but it make different.
Differences can create fun,
But it may create separation.
Instead of differences make, why not we make a difference!

BREAKTHROUGH!
Wow! Breakthrough after breakthrough!
Thank God that I finally got water baptized on 28 November 2009. I want to be like a man like Josiah!
On the very same day my Mom came for service! Though she left right after the word, I believe there is a seed sow into her heart.
Also this is the very first time to give Bible study. I pray that I will impart the right thing and not the wrong ones. At the same time I feel very blessed and received something while giving Bible study.
Lastly, it is also the very first time I play guitar for CG for praise! There are still SO MUCH MORE TO IMPROVE! I hope the next time I play I will play better and that I will be a usher of God's presence.
This Saturday Pastor Kong preached about dream. Though my dream is not very clear but I know the direction that I am heading for, I don't want to just idle in the desert without purpose, I am going to head towards the direction that God is giving me!
I believe there are more breakthroughs to come! More things to learn! I pray that God will increase my capacity and let me have a heart for people!

In Singapore, SBS transit is no doubt the leader in bus service. It's coverage is wide and allow us to travel from place to place with reasonable bus fare. I acknowledge that it also provide comfortable ride, however after witnessing an incident this afternoon, it causes me to question the quality of bus transport service in Singapore, especially the attitude of the bus drivers.
This afternoon, about 1.35 pm. I was waiting for bus service 185 to school. I saw a bunch of NTU students waiting for bus service 179 which would bring them to the campus. Then I saw a NTU student trying to get the attention of the driver of 179 and his action caught my attention. However, the bus didn't stop and pick up the students. The same thing occurs again with the second 179, until the third 179 the student then got to board the bus. Is this what a bus driver should do? Did he/she ever consider the consequences of doing so? What if the students are having exam on that day? Some people might says the student should wait for the bus at earlier timing so that they would be punctual. However, I believe that the students have trust in the SBS transit, its quality of service that the bus would bring them to their school on time to have their exam.
While some of the bus drivers do so, I also have seen other bus drivers who are more professional, who will smile, who will patiently wait for the elder passenger to get a seat before they start to move. I hope that all the bus drivers will take that as a good example.

This is the show I watched recently, the ending is quite sad. Don't know whether it is good or bad, when I watch a show the images of the show will linger in my head for a period of times. I feel for each character in the show, especially when it end off sad, I feel sad for them too. Haha! But I live my life, not theirs for I only feel for them but not feel like them.

Talking to God=)
Today Pastor Robb Thompson shared a very good word. Jesus was revealed to Peter by The Father supernaturally. Wow! Here is some thoughts, our walk with God is not just based on the message Pastor preach every week, it is not just about praying a sinner's prayer neither is it just about blessing. Experience with God is one thing personal, God seeks for a habitation, not just visitation, He is in us not just part of us. If we only seek God in theories and the things that He bless us, then it is very easy for us to drift away, theories may fail, the problem you are facing might not be solved immediately but if you know God and is in constant communion with Him, we will not be drawn away.

God's Sovereignty
Today I have a revelation: "Everything in life may seems out of control, but everything is still in God's control"- Yes things may get out of your control but it is definitely in God's hand. When your life is messy and you do not know how to handle the mess, you thought there is no way to get it back to control, but everything is still in God's hand. Just pray to Him and ask for help and direction, that is why the Holy Spirit is with us=)
And a new song today.
Your Hand
You hold me Lord
In Your mighty hand
Your sovereignty and all Your ways
I will never understand
I trust You Lord, Almighty God
You reign over all of the earth
Your will done, Your word will never fail
And You shall reign forevermore
And a new song today.

You hold me Lord
In Your mighty hand
Your sovereignty and all Your ways
I will never understand
I trust You Lord, Almighty God
You reign over all of the earth
Your will done, Your word will never fail
And You shall reign forevermore

Why and how.
Today my teacher was talking about the why and how about life. It is one thing to know how to eat, but it is another thing to know why we eat. It is one thing to know how to earn money, it is another thing to know why we earn money. It is one thing to know how to live life, but it is another thing to know why we live. To many when they ponder about this, they might be confuse or start to think negatively but one thing that I am clear about is that the reason we are here on Earth living is to prepare for eternity. Some might ask what if the eternity we are preparing for is not real, wouldn't it be a waste not to enjoy life? My answer to that is I am sure it is real and I have faith in God, statistic or experiment may prove me wrong but my own experience would not cheat one me. This might sound biased but this experience is personal, experience on your own and would know what I am talking about.
3 more chapters to finish Chemistry, now the giant is handicapped. Soon I will take his head and return with triumph.
Pray for me, specifically for math because it is the only subject I have problem with now. Thanks=)

Purpose of Martial Art
Martial art is any of the traditional forms of Oriental self-defense or combat that utilize physical skill and coordination without weapons, as karate, aikido, judo, or kung fu, often practiced as sportThe purpose of Martial Art is debatable, some says it is to enhance your physical ability and edify your body. Some says it is to learn the way of life. Some says it is a way to learn patient. Whatever it may be, it is certainly not to promote violence. Many people today are using it for violence, it is a total abuse of its power.
Let us see it in the view of Asian, perhaps from the view of chinese. The word '武' is Martial art in chinese. If we split it up it will become '止' and '戈'. '止' means stop or prevent, '戈' means spear or perhaps fighting or any weapon. Together it means to stop any chaotic situation or any fight or violence. Its purpose is not to promote violence but to make peace. Then why people seek to become stronger through martial art? Here is a hypothetical example but it is logical, by becoming stronger and adept in martial art, in the midst of stopping or preventing fights, you can deal minimum hurt to the opponent and stop the fight. If you are weak and not adept in the skill, you have lesser control over your strength and power, then in the midst of making peace you may deal lots of damage to your opponent and might kill. After all it is to make peace.
Learning martial art is not about how much damage you can deal to kill or to hurt, but how much you can endure. The tough training and drilling is no doubt a tough time for martial artist. To be a great martial artist, they have to go through that. And through that they learn endurance. Personally, I only learn one month of martial art in secondary school and few weeks during my J1 year, but it is an eye-opener to me. Now I still practise it on my own accord to edify my body. A martial artist who is well trained knows how to endure and not using it for violence whenever he feels angry. Endurance is the product of Martial art training.
Lastly, martial art is an art. The forms and strokes, each moves and shape it is an art. Many story books are inspired by martial art, especially when two person with great martial art skill are sparring, their character is something that overwhelmed not the fight itself. There are great books like 《射雕英雄传》,《雪山飞狐》 by 金庸 which is popular and is used for literature studies. It is important to learn the purpose and meaning behind it rather than to learn its power.
In the nutshell, martial art is not for violence. No matter in what aspect you see, in what culture it was from, its primary purpose is to promote peace. I believe its future is bright, the its primary purpose will outshine the people who are abusing it. Gradually but surely, with increasing literacy and humane in society, the abuse of martial art will be gone.

obesity...
'I think you have gain weight.' said by one of my classmate.
I weigh myself just now and it is 55 kg. I have gained 10 kg, if I am not going to be mindful of it I will be obese. Haiz...
Just some observation, I realized a handful of my schoolmates have been gaining weight, it might be a fallacy but I personally feel that we are totally 'result-minded'. Haha! Got to watch your weight!
I am going to get back to 45 kg soon... Haha!

Inspecting our heart...
“Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23
This is one of the verses that I use to remind myself always. Ever since this verse is gone through during Bible Study (Victorious living): Spiritual warfare. I have been checking myself constantly and inspect my attitude each day and more than I could count in a day. It is very easy for us to start to think negatively and when we build on negativity it will intensify. Like in Chemistry, when an anion accept an electron it will become more negative: Example:F2 + 2 e− → 2 F−
What my Bible study teacher teaches me is that whenever a negative thought surface, start a new chain of positive thoughts. When it says ‘You can’t do it’, you say ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me!’ Always base your faith upon the Word, he says. This I have hidden in my heart, but I forgotten the teacher name. Haha! Maybe one day he will teach me again in some other lesson.

Cockroach Buster!
Cockroach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
While studying YQ and I saw a cockroach. And we decided to hunt it down. So I was chasing it and finally trap it withing a container, but we decided not to spray Baygon as we don't want to kill ourselves. I ended throwing it into the trash center. HAha! In the midst, I found a cockroach shell which is empty and well preserved. Shoudn't have thrown it a way. Haha! Cockroach busting was fun! lol. We spent 15 minutes just to entertain the cockroach. I shall not post any picture, as it was disgusting.

Easy yet hard
Here's a post before I start my revision today. Have been doing Maclaurin's series since yesterday till this morning 5 am. Quite irritating, Maclaurin's and Binomial though is a scoring ground, yet it is the place you can easily get penalized due to the long working. But nevertheless, I shall perfect my skill on doing this through countless practices. Haha!
Never give up!
A break between studies. I am trying to study fervently for my 'A' levels, this is the second night I am studying consecutively. It feels good, I pray that I can last till 'A' levels. To those who haven't start their revision on 'A', 'O','N' levels, PSLE and End-of-year exam, if you start now it is still possible for you to do well. Never give up!

Let it be...
One my step of knowing myself more. I decided to not sleep until I feel tired at night, because I am able to study at night better than in the day. I have trying to change this habit, but I have decided to let it be. I will study at night too, not just day=)

Dreams...
Recently, I have a lots of dream when I am sleeping, it was like almost everyday, but I can't really remember it. Haha! It's amazing because in my dream I saw places that I have not see before, together with people I have never met. Of course there are some people I meet in dream that I know. Lol. It makes me want to sleep more now because I want to find out more. Haha!

Yeah! Before I start my revision today, I decided to put up this post. Recently, I got a bad habit of waking up late. Just not I woke up at 11+, and then went for lunch with Vernon then went to his house to chill a bit. Then I realized that I am actually 'super-outdated' on online games. There are so many new games and even dragon ball have its online game. Haha!
Guess I have to exercise more self-discipline, to do what I should do. Here is my revision plan, it works quite effective for me for prelim. If you have not have any plans in study, consider this:
For September
For October

Blessing...
My father's friend gave us his desktop and guess what? It is quite a good one with window vista, good sound system, and wide LCD monitor. Only pity is that there is no microsoft office. But this is a blessing already. I don't what to do with it as my laptop is more than enough. Maybe I can use it to play games after 'A' level, play some music or use it to watch movies. Haha!
God has provided more than what I need. Recently I am able to stock up some finances with the wisdom of God, now I can clear my debts. Lol! Sounds like I'm a bankrupt. Anyway God's word is only true and He proved it!

A new chapter unveiled...
Can't bear to end my JC life, yet I am excited to get into a new chapter of my life.
After 'A' level, going to complete my Mass comm. diploma in 3 months and then NS. Hopefully everything will go well. Anyway I am starting to consider which course to go. If anyone of you have any brochures on local or private university, may I have it? Haha!
'A' level, 100% must pass! I want to take my graduation photo at university with my parents. This is the first stop of my education. Besides, I can't let my parents, teachers, friends and God down. Ultimately, I have to conquer 'A' level for my own sake too.
Discipline+ Visualization+ Faith+ Confessing+ Prayer+ Hard work = 'A's
That is my balanced equation.
A new chapter will unveiled soon. I shall unveiled the next chapter by ending this gloriously and without regrets!

Changing...
Wow! Today we have a great CG meeting. A spiritual family is important I want to be a part in this family and sowing into it, edifying it and grow with it.
I guess I am changing as I grow older. Yesterday, after service, the whole CG went to Ayron’s house at Centris. After dinner, I was leaning against the wall with Phileo and both of us was ‘stoning’. And I started a conversation.
WY: Actually it is comfortable to ‘stone’ here and don’t do anything.
Phileo: You will get to do this a lot of times in NS.
WY: Oh! Great, I love to go to NS soon.
Actually I started to like to not do anything and sit down at one side, not ‘emo-ing’. And the thing that I love to do most is to find a place where there is nobody and sit or lie down there and not do anything. Taking public transport alone and plug in to my MP3 is one of the things too. Since young I don’t really like to talk, I was a boy that is passive and introvert. Every time as I was sitting or lying down alone in a quiet place, thoughts would flow, ideas and inspirations come. And now I understand that my best working condition is an easy, free and quiet condition where ideas and thoughts can freely flow and I do not have to think of things deliberately.
Today as I was on the way to CG meeting. It was raining gently, beautifully and comfortingly. My attention was totally captured by the rain, and an inspiration came. Going to write a poem on rain as well as one for water and it is going to be in Chinese. I love to watch rain in these days, especially those without the roaring thunder, violent rain drop. It is the smooth, gentle, continual, comforting, coming with a sweet melody.

HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!!!
I want to dedicate this post to all the teachers especially the teachers who taught me. It is a privilege to have good teachers I thank God for all of them because it is a blessing to be able to learn from them. Not only teaching knowledge and skills, they have taught me how to be a morally upright person, how to respect others, and instilled in me a passion to learn more and to be curious in things.
ALL TEACHERS ARE TO BE RESPECTED AND BE HONORED.
My teacher might not see this, but I want to really thank them for all that they done and be a part in shaping me.
Thank God that I have good teachers, they scold and discipline me because they care for me, taught me knowledge and skills so that I can do well in exams and have abilities to work and to comprehend things, provide me with guidance and advices when I am in trouble. They are like the hands of God in my life, God doing the shaping and molding through them. Hallelujah!

Familiarity breeds contempt...
I have to point out this, because things seem to get out of hand in my life. There are a few things that I disgust.
Firstly, when people criticize their or my elders (teachers, parents or some relative), who are we to criticize them? Often the rebuke or reprimand from our elders come with an intention of us growing up to be a fine and morally upright man. However many will tell me that the teacher or somebody is not good, scolding us for their own pleasure. Let me ask you, who would like to scold people? Is there joy from scolding? In Proverbs 13:1 ‘A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.’ I believe our elders are placed in our life to provide us guidance and advices, and I am thankful for my elders that have been in my life, I am who I am because of them. There is a Chinese saying ‘有则改之,无则勉之’,it means that any comments or rebuke that we received we should correct ourselves if it is true, if not take it as an advice and try to avoid doing so. I also thank God for them because if they are not in my life, I may be doing bad things, being immoral, and cause harm to society. And after all, what they have experienced and know is far more than us and natural we are not in the position to criticize them.
Secondly, sometimes it is not good to be too familiar with someone. When a person is close to someone, natural he/she will start to think that he/she knows the person well or the person don’t mind he/she calling the ‘names’ or doing something like taking things from someone’s bag without permission or without a good reason. Even with a good reason, permission should be sought. And sometimes he/she will start to talk rudely. Well it is a matter of manner and respects, years of education in school have taught us about this. To respects each other and to be at peace to each other, this is what make us different from animals. Well I believe animals sometimes do know how to respect. Of course I am not saying that I am perfect or something, sometimes I do hurt people or behave a bit rude, but I am trying to be sensitive and not to do it purposefully, when it is time to be serious, I will get serious, when it is time to play I will play. And please, don’t ask me or tell me anything that is a urgent or serious, when someone is talking on stage or a teacher is teaching, I don’t like to reply at this time because I want to give my respect to the speaker or lecturer and I want to learn as much as I can.
Lastly, I want to say that I might commit the things that I have written above, but I am trying my very best to not to do it and not to do purposefully. I understand that sometimes it is unintentional for someone to do these. After all this is just a random comments and thoughts of mine and is not subjective to anyone or specifically talking about anyone. So please don’t think you are the one that I am talking about.

Wow. I actually say that the chemistry paper is easy today. I actually spent much time on Maths and less on Chemistry but I ended scoring for Chemistry which I always fail. But I actually become more confident in Maths after much more practices. Who knows? Maybe Chemistry paper 1 will be a killer paper. Haha!
Anyway after tomorrow's CLL paper 2, I can slow down a bit. Don't have to flip through pages to memorise facts and workings. I can sit down and do the exercises and tutorials. Haha! 2 months more to 'A' Level. Hope that I can score by then. One of the thing that I keep on using to remind me that miracle do happen is that my 'O' level A maths. I actually failed my A maths with F9 even till prelim. But I ended up scoring an 'A2' in 'O' Level, and its the only the I pass my A maths. OF COURSE, HARDWORK IS NEEDED! Lol. It don't just drop from the sky or suddenly I become genius, though it would be nice if it happens X).

Response to failure
Yesterday I went to a bookshop to buy my Mom's birthday card. I saw a card with this quote written 'The path of success is the process of responding positively to failure'. So I bought it to keep on reminding myself the failure in studies I facing right now is the path to success if I respond positively. Anyway I realised that which topic and parts that I need to work extra on, so the actual 'A' level, I will try my best, who knows? Maybe miracle will happen. =)

Inspiration...
Attempted 5 paper for prelim this week, CLL paper 1, Maths paper 1, GP paper 1&2 and Chemistry paper 3.
I thought I was prepared, but it was surprisingly hard. But I still have a fair chance of passing.
And what I enjoyed most is to do GP and CLL paper's comprehension. The passage never fail to inspire me. I still can remember the passage for CLL. It is about REJECTION. It might seems negative to many people, but the writer see it in a different light. To reject is a right, and is a privilege. Though it is pain but we have to do it. We got to reject things that are hindering us so that we can achieve our dream. And to reject is a everyday choice, in mathematical theory, when you have make a choice, you reject 99% of the other choice. However, rejection should be done with maturity, deep thoughts and lots of wisdom. When you reject means you might not have a chance to have it again. These are the beauty and the pain of REJECTION.
As for GP, there are two passages, both about moral education. The first passage is arguing that the we should have a great relearning in our school; the other one is arguing that the way the school conduct moral education is futile and inappropriate. Both are written in the context of America. I feel that it is true that we should relearn the things that are written by wise men in the past and use it in moral education. Yet I disagree that the way the school conduct moral education is futile. In Singapore, the education system is considered to be one of the best. Many foreign students choose to come to Singapore for education. As a student going through 11 years of education, I can say that the school has done their part of educating the students in the moral prospect. I am thankful that I have learnt different values in different schools and able to discern what is wrong and what is right.
Thank God that I am placed in the environment where I was taught how to be morally upright and able to inherit different values from the schools I have attended. =)

What can I do?
Since the time we have on Earth is short, what can I do to impact things that is of eternity?
Eternity...
This thought just came to me when I am revising for my math paper for prelim. And was doing sum to infinity. But I came to recall that in the book 'Driven by eternity' written by John Bevere;'our life on earth is zero compare to eternity'.
Eternity is infinite time; duration without beginning or end(quoted from http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Eternity). In mathematical theory, any number divided by infinity is equal to zero.
For instance: 10000000000000/Infinity= 0
Compare to eternity our life is nothing on Earth. It might be tire to pray in the morning, may be hard to read the Bible at night, but compare to eternity these time spent is nothing. =)

Finally, I got on with my studies. Truly what you build on, will intensify, what you neglect will nullify. It seems to get easier to start studying after spending so many times studying. Thank God for His wisdom and understanding that is upon me, it takes me so little time to understand things that I don't understand or lesson that I missed. Truly everything will work out when you try your best and leave the rest to God.
Today I changed my study location twice. First, at Church then at Riverwalk. Haha! Because I'm attending Bible study later. In between, I have lunch with Vernon and have a good time.
Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to study with Gary in Church.
Tomorrow will be better!
Pray for me, thanks=)

I woke up in a shock today. I'm wanted to wake up at 6 but, when I woke up, I realised that it is already 6.50am. I'm late for prayer meeting. But I always love to attend the prayer meeting in morning because I will be able to do many stuffs that is needed to be done after that as I will wake up early in the morning unlike the days without prayer meeting that I will sleep till noon. Anyway I got to thank God that morning prayer is this week as it is my study break week too. I will be able to revise my work, if not I may spend half of the day sleeping. Haha!

Today I have a maths paper, this time I feel that it is easier. But hopefully I didn't do it wrongly or carelessly. HAha! Anyway this few days I was able to settle myself down and really study. After a while it is easier to get settle down at a faster time.
Anyway I also finished reading the book 《雪山飞狐》 which is needed for my literature lesson. HAha! At first I was complaining how boring is this book. But in the end I was totally interested in this book and addicted to reading.
This book has a very distinctive feature. It ends with an question, and the worse thing is directly before that is the climax and then it suddenly end. I couldn't sleep for nights just to think of the ending. It's the author's fault, he should just end with something. However, this is the reason why we are required to study this book. Haha! The other feature of this book is that it uses 'rashomon effect' which make it very interesting. One trend that my teacher pointed out is that when person A is conversing secretly with person B in the story, there is always a person C eavesdropping their conversation. And C thought there will be no one noticing his presence, then there is person D who is watching at what A, B and C is doing and conversing. Haha! Sound so funny. But what I find even funny is that everything starts with a misunderstanding and it just repeat itself over and over again which construct the storyline.

Days of sleepless night have left me with this sicked body. Today when I woke up, I am feeling very tired, yet it is like a normal reaction to wash up, gear up and go to school. Till the time I reach school that I realised that I am running a flu. Somehow it seems to be a daily routine to go to school and I am actually doing it without much sense and thought.
Of course, with this sicked body I sleep in the LEP room for about 1 hrs plus during my break. Then my teacher was at the door looking and I was lying down on the cushion so comfortably and did not realised. HAha! But today's lesson is enjoyable.=)
Anyway, I learnt a new literary effect called 'rashomon effect' it is a way of writing. The author of this book 'rashomon' is a Japanese. And the main feature of this book is that one same event, through the mouths of different people was presented in a different ways. Of course there is only one truth, so in the end there is one who will speak of the truth. But what so special is that it is like a jigsaw puzzle, requiring different people to fill in information to piece up the truth.
I hope one day I will be like any of these writer to be able to write well, with good command of language, good foundation for literature. Something pity is that knowledge can not be passed down just like money or properties. It maybe recorded down yet you need time to read and learn about it. The knowledge of Isaac Newton can't be passed down, it is only his discovered and formulas that we are learning today. What a waste!

Today I think I have learn something. Got to learn to recognize things that is in your hand that you should embrace and cherish it; and things that is unreachable that you should just give up. Many times I have tried to reach for the things that are unreachable and ended up with injuries. Maybe I should just embrace things that is in my hands. However, reaching for unreachable, though its pain, it is something that is beautiful too. Perhaps I could say 'I tried my best' and comfort myself. But I would not regret trying. This is one of the best memories I have.
There are many things that I also missed out. Some thing that I missed out, it will not be a eternal missed-out; some thing that I have missed, I might already missed it eternally. In one day, they maybe many things that we might missed out, or perhaps we are choosing things that we think that is more important to do and choose to missed out other things first. The pain is we only got 24 hours everyday, surely we will missed out something. We got to choose what is the things that we really want to do and need to do.
I have missed out things that I might missed it eternally. But I will embrace it if I have have a chance to choose again. Who knows what will happen? I still have decades of life to live. Haha!

The heart of the matter, is always the matter of heart. The real pain is when you stumble and fall during wall, there is no one shielding you, you got to get up on your own. But thank God that He is always shielding and every time you stumble and fall, He is always there, it is just that your heart is clouded by matters that you can't notice His presence. Haha! Always due with the matter of heart. I got to be more sensitive.

Have not been sleeping well for many days. That is why I'm able to blog at this timing. How I hope I could sleep well. Always feeling tired in the day, this isn't right, I got to get some sleep at night soon.
I am thinking if everything is easy, that will be so relaxing. But will we lose the adventurous experience in our life and start to get complacent?

Growing smaller
Some thought that I have been pondering on. When you realise that you are small you will began to realise that there is so much space to grow. But when you are already satisfied with how you are already and feel that you are already big, then your growth will be limited.
To realise that you are small is not lack of confidence or lack of self-esteem but to be humble. You can be confident and small and the same time.
So as we are growing(physical, mentally and spiritually), we got to grow smaller as well. I guess maybe it is a natural process that as we grow, we will realise how small we are and then grow again.
Haha! Anyway this is only a thought. Don't take my words for it. I might be wrong, still growing up.

Insomia!!!
I just took my Chemistry paper, was not at tip-top condition. I didn't sleep throughout the night. =(
I realised that once I try to study I can't stop it just keep going and going, and I keep on feeling more energised. And ended up study throughout the night. Got to sleep already.
One gentle reminder: Don't study at night before you sleep, you will not be able to sleep after study!

Maths paper
Lol. I totally forgot everything during the Maths paper, maybe I should put in more effort on studies. Thank God it is not actual A level paper, I still can work harder for better grades. STUDY!

Today I went to study with YQ at Gek Poh KFC. The same feeling as how we study during secondary school. Study is more enjoyable with friends, then PY joined us for dinner.
After that we went to Li Ming's house to celebrate his birthday and play some card games. It was fun, Haha! Anyway got to study more. Exam coming. Pray for me. Thanks.

Today I have lots of sleep and of course Bryan is back! Lol. So missed him, got to catch up with him soon.
Anyway just now I went to have dinner with Ayron, Samuel and Shyang Zhi. Eating at KFC as usual, and went to shop for Japanese stuffs. I learnt a new phrase call 'Kaminabe', don't misunderstand. It is not the dialect vulgarity we used in Singapore but a dish in Japan. And some other picture we took after dinner.

Sleep
Today I slept a lot. I spent almost half of the day sleeping. Really have a good rest. But now I'm tired again. Going to sleep again. Research shown that people spend 1/3 of their life sleeping. If you can live up till 90 years old, we will be spending 30 years sleeping. What if this 30 years is put into other purpose rather than sleeping? Maybe you can't live up till 90 if you don't sleep. But I believe that there is a purpose for us to be sleeping. So let's sleep! zzz...

Recently, I felt very tired. Don't feel like going out. Just want to stay home to read my books, sleep and play guitar. Anyway just now I went to find Yong Quan, Li Ming and Jasper to play basket ball. After that Li Ming came to my house to play guitar, I learnt how to play "I'm yours" by Jason Marez, nice song and easy to play.
Anyway if I happened to be too quiet and a bit not responsive when I'm going out with anyone of you, please forgive me. I'm just a bit tired. Haha! Got to overcome tiredness.

Day of unexpectancies...
Today I experienced many unexpected things. But all this was great and like dream come true. And this got me to seriously get into study mood, time is short, though straight 'A's seem far and unreachable, I believe that with hardwork and proper way, it is something that can be achieved.

Discipline...
Today, I went to library to study. Saw Li Ming and Kevin and said 'Hi' to them. Then I went in to the quiet reading room. Though it is quiet reading room, I don't have any mood to study. Maybe home is a more conducive study place. Really got no mood to start revising, but just got to do it, this is what we call discipline which I lack of. 4 more months to go, just need to study hard for 4 more months then it will be "NS break". Haha!
Anyway, I feel that there is a need for greater consecration and sanctification. Got to really focus on God more. PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! This is where we got our strength.
A verse that I have been meditating on: "If I abide in Him and He in me" John 15:5

The start is the end...
Yeah! It's June holiday, time to catch up with the works. Today did not go to school because I overslept. Haha! What a stupid way to end the term... Anyway, I'm all ready to go for GP common test! This time I will defeat the paper victoriously. Hehe!
Anyway, yesterday I went for NS medical check-up. Gone through a few test and ended in PES A. Haha! It means I'm healthy! Thank God that my body is all well and I'm going to maintain it well. Hehe! Actually I feel that NS is a study break for me because I have being studying for 12 years!!! I know during NS I'm going to miss study, but I would be excited to go for NS soon(so contradicting).
Later going for Song of Solomon bible study, got to read ahead first. Bye!

4th University
Recently the 4th university is one of the hot topic that many are discussing in Singapore. Many people question that whether the 4th university would be sub-standard, but I believe that recently the reports of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) would collaborate with the 4th university will clear the doubts.
With the improve in the qualities of education in primary, secondary and tertiary level, the performance of the students nowsaday is generally better. Result slip with 'A's are common now. It would mean that more people will be qualified to enter a university, however the placement available are limited, many of the student who are qualified are unable to get a place in local university and have study in private university or go oversea to pursue their further study. It would be easy to lose local talents if many would go oversea to pursue their university education and decide to be rooted there. Having the fourth university would be necessary, it is estimated that 2500 more student would be able study in local university.
Now many students would be able to pursue their degree in Singapore, this however would give rise to a problem whether there would be enough job placement for the new graduates. If there are so many university graduates and lack of job opportunities in Singapore then it would cause the unemployment rate to increase. Furthermore, with the influx of foreign talents, more job would be occupied. How would this problem be solved?
Yes! The Integrated resort(IR) and market- haired would be providing extra jobs, would it be enough? That would be a question that I'm wondering.

Just a thought....
Lol. Now that I understand responsibilities cannot be shaken off even if you are sick, on MC and more. Even you are on MC, the lessons are going to continue without you. It's your own responsibilities to study what you miss. And the things that you must do does not wait for you to recover before they are near the deadline. Haha! Do I sound like I'm complaining? Haha!
Anyway too much of MC already. Let's be healthy and study hard! This is the last lap of my JC life, going to be colourful. Miracles will happen, I believed. Though we are growing up each days, we can choose to be child-like. HAha!

NAFA test...
This few weeks the PE lesson rotated around NAFA test, people taking test, people retaking test. I am one of the one who have to face the test. This year I scored as usual as the past but this time I scored a D for broad jump and B for 2.4km.=( There goes my straight 'A's. But still got one more week to work on. I believe I can do it. Jump a few second faster and a few cm longer. HAha!

Just a reminder to myself...
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is gate broad is the way that leads to destruction. and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."
Matthew 7:13-14

It is a long time since I last blogged. Have been busy with school works.
A few times that I have skipped school to sleep more xD. But now it is getting lesser as I trying to keep up with the pace. Anyway I got a new room, a bigger one. Thank God!
Also one very important thing, thank God that I am waking up everyday with expectancy and enthusiasm if not life would be boring.

God of this city...
GOD OF THIS CITY:
YOU'RE THE GOD OF THIS CITY
YOU'RE THE KING OF THESE PEOPLE
YOU'RE LORD OF THIS NATION
YOU ARE
YOU'RE LIGHT IN THIS DARKNESS
YOU'RE HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS
YOU'RE PEACE TO THE RESTLESS
YOU ARE
THERE IS NO ONE LIKE OUR GOD
THERE IS NO ONE LIKE OUR GOD
FOR GREATER THINGS HAVE YET TO COME
AND GREATER THINGS ARE STILL TO BE DONE IN THIS CITY
GREATER THINGS HAVE YET TO COME
AND GREATER THINGS ARE STILL TO BE DONE IN THIS CITY
(AND GREATER THINGS ARE STILL TO BE DONE HERE)
Album - God of this City
Lyric- http://www.guitar4christ.com/modules.php?name=Song_Search&file=printlyrics&id=877
Wow! I feel that this song is beautiful. I sang just now as I worship, and I begin to imagine (XD) God is hope to the hopeless, peace to the restless. And I start thinking and sing " You're my strength when I am weak". And I still believe that greater things have yet to come and greater things are still to be done. What I am going through now having now might be great but there are greater things that will come. I believe. And always do not stop expecting for greater things to come because He is great and there are things that He have not reveal to us like what Pastor Tan illustrated. (the number line illustration) I have many weaknesses but He is my strength.

Finally...
Finally new blog skin. Haha! After some trial and error, I finally got to change my blog skin.
Past two day, I have been celebrating my birthday and this year, I have my best birthday that I ever have. Thank God.
Monday: Yong Quan helped me to organised a party, and many of my secondary school friends came to my house. Really like a secondary school gathering. Haha! Anyway, special thanks to Yong Quan, for helping me to call up friends, getting all the foods and cakes and organised such a nice party for me. Also thanks to those who came, you really made my day.
Tuesday: Went to Jurong West Stadium to have dinner with CG. We had Japanese food and it is very nice. And we have a nice time fellowshipping. Haha! Pei Yang ate a lot, really like dinosaur. Then Jeremy ate very little, like on diet like this. Haha! Anyway it was a very good time eating and talking there. Haha!
Today, as usual, going to school for my Mass comm second module; Principle of Marketing. Interesting. Haha! Few more days to school reopen, and before that I got to go for OGL prep camp on 9 January 09 Friday. I'm sure it will be fun.
And finally... 18 years old. (STILL VERY YOUNG)... Hehe!

I know it is still the start of the year. But I just don't feel like running anymore, the lactic acid has taken its effects, I need to sleep, rest, drink some 100 plus eat some food. A bit tired of responsibilities. Just want to find a place where I can place everything down and relax a bit. Is there someone who would share my responsibilities and burdens that I may shift my focus? Or is it not the time for me to shift my focus?
