I have to point out this, because things seem to get out of hand in my life. There are a few things that I disgust.
Firstly, when people criticize their or my elders (teachers, parents or some relative), who are we to criticize them? Often the rebuke or reprimand from our elders come with an intention of us growing up to be a fine and morally upright man. However many will tell me that the teacher or somebody is not good, scolding us for their own pleasure. Let me ask you, who would like to scold people? Is there joy from scolding? In Proverbs 13:1 ‘A wise son heeds his father’s instruction, but a scoffer does not listen to rebuke.’ I believe our elders are placed in our life to provide us guidance and advices, and I am thankful for my elders that have been in my life, I am who I am because of them. There is a Chinese saying ‘有则改之,无则勉之’,it means that any comments or rebuke that we received we should correct ourselves if it is true, if not take it as an advice and try to avoid doing so. I also thank God for them because if they are not in my life, I may be doing bad things, being immoral, and cause harm to society. And after all, what they have experienced and know is far more than us and natural we are not in the position to criticize them.
Secondly, sometimes it is not good to be too familiar with someone. When a person is close to someone, natural he/she will start to think that he/she knows the person well or the person don’t mind he/she calling the ‘names’ or doing something like taking things from someone’s bag without permission or without a good reason. Even with a good reason, permission should be sought. And sometimes he/she will start to talk rudely. Well it is a matter of manner and respects, years of education in school have taught us about this. To respects each other and to be at peace to each other, this is what make us different from animals. Well I believe animals sometimes do know how to respect. Of course I am not saying that I am perfect or something, sometimes I do hurt people or behave a bit rude, but I am trying to be sensitive and not to do it purposefully, when it is time to be serious, I will get serious, when it is time to play I will play. And please, don’t ask me or tell me anything that is a urgent or serious, when someone is talking on stage or a teacher is teaching, I don’t like to reply at this time because I want to give my respect to the speaker or lecturer and I want to learn as much as I can.
Lastly, I want to say that I might commit the things that I have written above, but I am trying my very best to not to do it and not to do purposefully. I understand that sometimes it is unintentional for someone to do these. After all this is just a random comments and thoughts of mine and is not subjective to anyone or specifically talking about anyone. So please don’t think you are the one that I am talking about.
