Peace

As I am studying about the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23), this saying caught my attention.

"Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of God no matter what the conflict"
-Anonymous

Peace in Greek is the word 'eirene' which is equivalent to the Hebrew word 'Shalom' meaning wholeness, completeness, tranquility in the soul that is unaffected by the outward circumstances or pressures. It is important to have the peace of God in our life. How then do we have this peace? By seeking after God and His will.

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29 (NKJV)

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

I want to have this peace of God=)
